Terri is a member of the South Carolina Workers Compensation Educational Association, the South Carolina Self-insured Employers’ Association, and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. She handles and tries workers compensation cases at all phases, including before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. She also actively pursues claims for reimbursement from the South Carolina Second Injury Fund. Terri is a member of South Carolina Bar and an inactive member of the Indiana Bar.
After law school, Terri practiced for two years with the office of the Attorney General for the State of Indiana litigating land condemnation cases. After relocating to South Carolina, Terri worked for a plaintiff’s firm in Beaufort. Since moving to the Charleston area, she has practiced primarily in the area of Workers’ Compensation, including for a large defense firm and with her own practice before joining Clawson & Staubes.
While in college, Terri was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and is involved in their Charleston alumna association. At the University of Arizona, she was initiated into the scholastic honorary fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi. She is also a member of the legal fraternity, Phi Delta Phi. Terri has also been active in Girl Scouting, as a Senior level Scout herself, and as an adult service unit and troop leader for various ages and levels of Girl Scouts.
Terri is the mother of four teenagers. She lives on the Isle of Palms and enjoys the beach, reading, traveling, and attending her children’s various activities, including surfing and dance competitions.
