A Charleston native, Kristen joined Clawson and Staubes as an associate in 2006, after serving as a law clerk for the firm in 2005. Kristen focuses her practice in the areas of consumer, corporate and commercial law, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and general civil litigation.
Kristen is active in the Junior League of Charleston, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Carolina Alumni Association, and the Center for Women. Kristen spends a large majority of her time volunteering and fund-raising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor and memory of her father. Kristen has run several full and half marathons as a participant and mentor with the Charleston Team in Training program and now serves as a coach.
A “die-hard,” third-generation Gamecock fan, Kristen looks forward to football season each year and can often be found in Columbia tailgating before games. Aside from Gamecocks sports, Kristen enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family outdoors at the beach, on the boat, running and taking her dogs, “Mr. Richard” and “Hydie”, on walks.
