David has practiced law in state and federal courts since 1989. He has tried numerous cases to jury verdict with great success. His practice focuses on defending significant injury claims, truck accidents, and construction defect litigation.
After practicing for two years in Greenville, South Carolina, David moved his practice to Charleston in 1991 and joined Clawson and Staubes in 1998. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
A native of South Carolina, David graduated from Furman University with a degree in Political Science and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
David is married and lives in downtown Charleston. He enjoys traveling, boating and sports.
