Clawson & Staubes is pleased to announce that Summer Eudy has joined its Charlotte Office. Summer received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her juris doctorate, cum laude, from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. Summer has joined the civil litigation team at Clawson & Staubes. Her practice will focus on insurance defense, insurance coverage, and personal injury.
On February 8, 2011 Clawson & Staubes attorney Kristen Nichols Voyer spoke to the East Cooper Top Producers Realtors at the Daniel Island Club as part of a panel discussion. The panel focused on foreclosures, short sales, and deeds in lieu and their effects on the Tri-County area real estate market. Kristin regularly deals with these issues in her practice. Kristen practices with the firm’s Commercial Law and Bankruptcy section, focusing on consumer law, corporate law, bankruptcy, and foreclosures.
On February 11, 2011, Chris Nickels and Christy Fargnoli will give a presentation on summary jury trials at the Berkeley County Bar Association’s CLE entitled “A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That.” Chris and Christy’s presentation will focus on summary jury trials as a means to resolve personal injury cases. They will discuss the the format of summary jury trials, a typical case scenario, and the overall benefits provided by this method of dispute resolution. This CLE is free to members of the Berkeley County Bar and provides 3 hours of MCLE credit.
Chris and Christy practice with the firm’s civil litigation group in Charleston. Their practices focus on insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and business litigation. They represent individuals, insurance companies, and businesses in all South Carolina state and federal courts with respect to these matters.
