Tim Whisler & Stephanie Grunthal to Give Presentation on “S.C. Foreclosures & Workouts”

On January 12, 2011, Tim Whisler and Stephanie Grunthal will present at “South Carolina Foreclosures and Workouts,” a seminar hosted by the National Business Institute. The seminar will discuss the requirements, procedures, and common problems of foreclosures. It will help attorneys recognize title issues and how to resolve them. The seminar will also provide a comprehensive understanding of post-foreclosure liability for property preservation, taxes, and ownership responsibilities. Tim and Stephanie’s portion of the presentation will focus on ethical issues, including conflicts of interest, mulitiple representation issues, due diligence amd duty to disclose, and attorney’s fees.
Tim and Stephanie practices with the firm’s commercial law and bankruptcy team, focusing on the area of creditors’ rights with an emphasis on debt collection and judgment enforcement. They represent creditors, lenders, financial institutions, and the like throughout South Carolina in connection with these matters.
